I have a simple home network, linksys wireless router, 3 computers on the network: One windows 8 and two running 7. Problem is that I can not initiate a connection to any of the computers from any of the computers with Remote Desktop. I have gone in and made sure to allow RDP connections, etc. When nothing else worked, I uninstalled my anti virus and turned off my firewall(s) Still no connection; I'm receiving the error that says that either, the computer is not turned on, not on the network, blah blah blah. The computers are on, they can each ping each other and I've mapped drives back and forth on the computers. FOr the life of me I cant figure out my a simple remote desktop connection is failing. I don't think this matters, but each of the three computers is connected to the LAN wirelessly Any Ideas?
