Hello, I came here in hopes that someone could help me with my problem.
I start by saying that I'm completely clueless to networking stuff, so please be patient with me, I'll probably not know a lot of what you ask me if you use many technical terms...
That being said, my problem is that my connection goes down at random times then comes right back up. It seems to be only my connection, no other computer in the house has that problem, and my computer has a wired connection to the router. I checked if the cable could be damaged but that doesn't seem to be the case either.
Furthermore, recently I was playing minecraft and when I got disconnected, the error message on the game was something like "Connection was aborted by the software in your host machine" Which makes me think I have something on my pc that is doing this.
Can someone help me find what's causing this? I saw that purplecracka seemed to have a similar issue, but the thread quickly started using technical terms and I didn't really know what they were talking about anymore...
