Yesterday I changed the Wi-FI password on my Router (correctly as it turned out later) but then lost my Internet connection. (Incidentally, I can't connect to my Router via Chrome--other browsers work fine). I thought I had made an error in the Router because of the loss of connection. Did this happen because the new password info did not match the computer info? A previous post suggested "forgetting" the domain and trying to connect again. That worked beautifully (and simple). Once my connection was re-established, I was able to determine that the new password was also showing on my computer. Is it necessary to lose the Internet every time the wi-fi password is changed? How can I avoid that?
