Hey there. I've been having some problems with reconnecting to the internet after the computer has been in sleep mode. Unfortunately I'm living in a rental which is an older house and connecting the computer directly to the modem is impossible without a looooong cable due to the silly location of cable points etc.
I've been using a wireless adaptor which is a D-Link DWA-125. It works fine, until the computer awakens from sleep, then there's trouble. It says it's connected to the internet but it won't actually work, when you run diagnostics it says it can't find a problem. I've disabled the computer from powering down the adaptor, which makes no difference. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I'm running Windows 7 64x if that helps. Thank you.
