There are two internet services in my house.
There is a Dell computer running on Windows 7 that is having problems connecting to the wireless Bell internet. The speed is around 0.85 Mbps when it connects. However, when I use my Toshiba laptop (windows 8) to connect to the same wireless Bell internet, the speed is much better... around 6 Mbps.
I do not think it is a hardware problem with the Dell. When I use the Dell computer and connect it to the second wireless internet, Teksavvy, I get 16.24 Mbps (which is the normal speed).
So, this one computer is only having problems with the one internet service. Why? It needs to be using the Bell internet, so I can't just leave it on Teksavvy. I need to get it working with the Bell internet. Any insights?
