It seems like a simple fix but i have been trying to figure this out for almost a year now. I built a new PC with windows 8.1, amd fx 8320 processor, 8 gb kingston ram ddr3, fatal1ty killer 990fx motherboard with uefi and I use roadrunner ISP. I'm not new to running simple dedicated servers for video games such as Minecraft ore Quake. I know how to port forward and have an easy router to do so on. I can run dedicated servers on my windows 8.1 laptop and my windows 7 desktop before i built this one. the only thing that has changed is the desktop pc. When i run a dedicated server for a game like reflex on steam i port forward the game and VAC for steam and they show all the signs of success but nobody from the outside can connect to my servers from my new desktop. I can still run dedicated servers on my laptop so I know something must be wrong with my uefi settings. I don't know anything about computer networking so I hope somebody here might be able to suggest what may be causing this problem. Thank you for any help you can provide.
