I have many files on my desktop that I would like to access from my laptop as well. They are connected in the same network (desktop via Ethernet cable, and laptop via WiFi).
How do I access the files?
Desktop is Windows 7, Laptop is Windows 8.1. A friend who comes regularly to my place has a Mac (he's still on OS X 10.9 Mavericks, apparently 10.10 Yosemite is buggy).
