Hubby is using Windows 8, I am using Windows 7. We are both connected to the internet via a router (cables plugged in to each PC, so I am assuming NOT wireless?).
He just got a new PC which is connected directly to his PC. I have an old laser printer directly connected to my PC. We would both like to have access to BOTH printers.
I have no idea how this is, but I AM connected to the Internet through the router, but my PC shows "Not Connected. Connections are available" which I assumes means that I am NOT on the home network like he is?
Before his old PC crashed, I was able to print on the printer directly connected to his PC and he was able to print on the printer directly connected to my PC, but now I have no idea how to get that situation back!
How do I "connect" our PCs to each other's direct-connect printer?
Thanks!
