Okay, so here's the deal. Just yesterday my laptop, an HP envy, was working perfectly fine. I tried to update it, as I had not in a couple months, and it turned the ability for Wi-Fi off. I can no longer even find the Wi-Fi in my house and I called tech support for the problem, but it was going to cost 80 dollars. So I got an Ethernet cable, thinking it would help to finish the update, but now none of the settings pages on the computer will even load. I have no idea what to do, please help?
