I have a 1TB drive connected to my desktop which I use as my Norton backup device. I changed my user password on the desktop and now when I boot up my laptop, it shows up in the task bar as "Not all nw devices connected..."
I click on the message, click on the shared device (has a big red X on it) and enter user name and new password and click the remember checkbox. It reconnects for the session, but if I shutdown the laptop (which I do every night) I have to go through the whole process again. I even went to the cmd prompt and tried doing it from scratch using the c:\net use command and still it won't auto connect.
