I have two HP computers. One is my old one and runs windows 7, but it kept getting hot and crashing....faster and faster as the weeks rolled by, until it crashed constantly, and so I bought a new one. The old one still works but not for long. If there was a way to make it work without crashing that would be a blessing.
The new HP uses 8.1 which I am familiarizing myself with. (Pity I have to learn all over again)
Anyway my new computer had wireless working for awhile, then I had a problem ( downloaded that bloatware software which was supposed to get rid of bloatware....instead my entire system stopped working....and I had to reset to the default settings to get it up and running again)
I didn't lose too much info as the computer was new and had little on it. But the wireless doesn't work now.
I have looked at a former problem that someone had and downloaded 'wireless inspector' All is there and strong signal.
I have searched my computer and it says that the wireless adapter is functioning properly....but I am NOT connected to the wireless....and I cannot figure out why.
Can someone help? thanks
