My apologies! I don't even know what phrasing I would use to see if anyone has had this problem before.
I tried to download Symantec and once I completed all that was involved, I restarted my laptop and the laptop for some unknown reason had to do a system restore. Once that was finished, I tried to get online. The laptop asked a series of questions, one was what was the 8 digit code on the bottom of the Linksys. Of course, I thought nothing of it and entered it. There were all kinds of expletives ringing throughout our house as everyone was kicked off the wifi!
It's OS is Windows 8. It appears that the laptop is running as the Linksys and has a secure connection. I am not sure if at this point I should try a system restore to a point before and then resetting the Linksys password? Any help is appreciated!!
