New router will not open some web sites

Hi,

I have a TP-Link Archer C7.
Firmware Version: 3.14.1 Build 140929 Rel.33293n
Hardware Version: v2

There are a few sites I cannot access. For example, I cannot access www.frys.com, or www.dell.com.
Other than a few exceptions, I have good Internet access.

I cannot ping either site from a command line in Windows 7 (request times out).
I can ping them in the router admin pages using the ping diagnostics tool TP-Link provides.

I get the same results from all devices on my network, wired or wireless.

I can access these sites when I connect directly to the modem, but not when I connect the router.

MTU adjustment has made no difference (set to 1300 based on pinging Google.com and finding no fragmentation as high as 1272.).

I have double checked that no restrictions, filtering, scheduling or access control is enabled.

I tried temporarily disabling the SPI firewall.

I tried temporarily disabling IPv6.

I updated the firmware from the prior version 131217 last night, but I notice no difference.

I do not believe I need to use MAC cloning. My ISP is Astound. My WAN connection is dynamic IP.

I have not modified the primary and secondary entries for DNS servers.

It is after extensive Googling and attempts that I have compiled the above info. I do not understand all of it, but am just trying to dig up an answer. It seems a lot of people have posted about a similar issue (having a few sites inaccessible), and across various makes and models of routers, but no single issue that resolves it.

Thank you, and any help will be greatly appreciated!
