can not connect to most websites on new network

Hi,

Two different devices, both only able to connect to Facebook and sometimes google.
Also unable to run updates on Windows Defender/Update.
Devices are fine on other networks.

Error message: No data received
- Able to ping websites.
- If I connect one device through VPN I can access everything.
- I have rebooted, flushed DNS, reset winsock entries, wireless network adapter - no fix

Am now updating the VPN machine, will check later on that one? Any suggestions?
