I am having some semi-major issues with my connection causing my skype calls to drop and sound horrible and video games/ movies will lag and load slowly. My connection method different than most people's. My ISP uses microwave signals to transmit data to a tower, so they thought maybe my radio was out of alignment. They came to my house yesterday to work on it and realigned my radio and replaced some other equipment. The problem has not cleared up at all and they don't really have any explanation as to what is causing it. The equipment at my house includes a router, a switch, a poe for the radio, then finally the radio which lets me out on the web.
So after doing some troubleshooting on my own I have found some a few issues. One being I am able to browse but can not ping servers. So I thought it could be that my ISP started blocking ICMP packets but now I am not so sure since I can run a traceroute. I can ping my router, but anything beyond that is not working. Tried bypassing the router and got the same results, not being able to ping anything and high latency. So when I do a traceroute I get results like this usually,
The second device (10.10.169.250).. what could that be based on the equipment I listed? I can ping my router but not that thing which kind of leads me to believe it might have a configuration issue not letting me ping or something.
Thoughts? Idk... just kind of stuck.
