First of all, I'll apologize in advance if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything. Secondly, I'll apologize in advance if I seem a little pissed off. I hope it won't become a problem, but I've been banned from all kinds of places due to anger management issues.
So my problem is that I have a 3g router that constantly switches between two towers. One of them gives me a better connection than anything that's been in this house before. The other one is the exact opposite. It's like 25kb/s on a good day.
Right now I've kept the problem to a low by strategically placing a radiator between the crowded tower and the router, but it still sometimes connects to it. I don't have any thicker easily movable metal objects.
Currently the only solutions I see are to either buy several tons of lead or buy a dish antenna. There are obvious problems with the first solution and as for the second I don't know where to buy a dish antenna.
Are there any better solutions to this to try before making stupid purchases?
