I believe I've gone through most if not all forums pertaining to my problem and i cannot find any kind of solution that works for my laptop! I have a HP Pavilion 15 and the issue is that my laptop has slow download speed about .. about 4.0 mbps download while the upload is where its supposed to be! I have refreshed my system to manufactured settings and before updates it runs with the speeds it needs to .. about 40 mbps... i have called hp and they shipped me a new wifi card to no avail.. i have tried a usb wifi adapter to no avail, i have also tried the cmd thing that i cant remember right now with little to no change. im positive it's not my internets fault because my other devices run well and in the acceptable range. my laptop is less than 1 year old and i still do have warranty but i really dont want to send my laptop back to hp until they fix it because i use it for work and school and i don't want to go through all that and im a fix it yourself type of guy aswell. i have also bought a new wifi adapter-modem thing that gives off my internet so connectivity isnt an issue because the laptop usually stands right next to the adaptor and at school the laptop runs uploads correct but the downloads are slow even there! please someone help!!
