Local Area Home network setup:
1. LAN MAP: Internet->Motorola Surfboard SB6121->Linksys E2500 Wi-Fi Router
2. Wi-Fi connected to Router: Lenovo Thinkpad (Windows 7) & MacBookPro OS X
3. Ethernet Connection to Router: Iomega Home Media Hard Drive
Problem:
1. Windows 7 Explorer DOES NOT SEE/RECOGNIZE/LIST the Iomega HD nor it's
folders when connected to LAN.
2. Unable to map Iomega HD (network) folders.
3. Win7->Control->Devices does not show the Iomega Hard Drive.
Notes:
1. Problem exists whether or not Router's IPv4, IPv6 or Windows Firewalls
are enabled.
2. MAC can see and modify (wi-fi) the Iomega HD and its folders
Does anyone have an idea as to how I might proceed to solve the problem. I've tried a bunch.
