Using a wireless bridge and router to create a local network

So I live in a dorm and all we have is WiFi, there is no Ethernet ports. My problem is that the network does not allow local communication (Device > Device) and I have some device Chromecast, Steam Streaming, and etc that I would like to use but can't. I have a Linksys WGA600N Wireless gaming bridge and would like to use that to connect to a router (I have a Dlink Xtreme Duo wireless N Bridge/Router) how can I go from the Linksys bridge to the Dlink Router. I have tried a few different ways but i'm not sure what I need to do to make the IP's work. I know you have to make the bridge the gateway but im not sure how.

This is the Dlink router/bridge: http://www.dlink.com/us/en/home-solu...n-access-point

Extra notes: Our school uses MAC Address filtering but we can register devices, not sure if this is significant or not.
