Solved: My laptop says I'm connected to the internet, yet it won't work?

My internet usually works fine, and nothing has changed within the last few weeks (no downloads or anything). But all of a sudden my internet won't work, it says that my connection is strong, yet when I use The internet it says " this page cannot be displayed" and when using Firefox it's the same thing. At first I thought it was something to do with the router so I reset that to no avail, then I decided to scan for any viruses that could have Infected my PC but no threats were found. Any help would greatly be appreciated , it's not the broadband itself because I'm accessing the internet from phone with no problem.

I have a toshiba satellite c55 and it's only 4 months old
