Hi, thanks for looking!!
Is it possible to connect the below "pieces" to make it easy for me to work, play & browse without spending in excess of $300+ for a single kvm switch?
I currently have:
A Dell Inspiron Desktop, win8, multi port video card
B HP workhorse desktop, win8 single vga video card (have new multi port vid card on order)
C, D 2 Acer 23" multi port monitors
SYBA SY-KVM31034 2-port USB/HDMI Compact KVM Switch
1 keyboard & 1 mouse
Here's my issue. I am way over thinking this or not comprehending how all this stuff works.
I thought it would be easy to make A go to C & D, B go to C & D and have some simple switch to hook up keyboard/mouse to both A & B.
However, when I research what, who, where I feel like I'm trying to re-create the NASA control room.
Is there someone that can spell out what I need? Pretend you're talking to a 5 year old with as much money as a 5 year old has in her pocket!
Thanks in advance for all comments and suggestions!
