Hello, I am currently staying in a college dorm, and have had many problems with my internet. When playing games with two friends in the same room, they both have ~40 ms ping, while I have anything between 40-500 ms ping. We are all using wireless internet, but only I have high ping. I have tried updating my network drivers, scanning for viruses/malware/spyware, disabling my firewall, and changing to Google DNS. I've also tried using a USB wireless network adapter, which gave me increased download and upload speeds, but didn't fix the high ping. Can someone help me figure out why my ping is so high?
