Local Area Connection and ethernet cable unplugged

So for the past few days my internet has be extremely laggy, and when checking my internet connections this comes up:

I have no idea what to do concidering how I have my own wireless connection that seems to be working fine:

When I try an diagnose the problem, every time this comes up:

I have no idea what to do and I can't find anything to help me with this problem, does anyone know what to do? Should I get a new ethernet cable or is this something that can be fixed on my laptop? Incase it helps I use a TOSHIBA Windows 7 laptop
