Brand new Comcast install - Internet and telephone. Two computers on home network. One speed tests at 28 mbs and, at the computer end of the ethernet cable unplugged, the other does too. Plug in the ethernet cable and the other reduces to 3 mbs on speed test. On the Xfinity test site it shows two values IPv4 is the 3 mbs but IPv6 is the 28 mbs it's supposed to be. The comcast guy says problem's in the computer and I think he's correct. My network adapter is RealTek PCIe GBE. An interesting sidenote. Both computers do an actual download at about 3 mbs - nowhere near the 28 on the speedtest.
