Connecting laptop to internet kills connection for entire household

Quite simple but incredibly annoying, my laptop will kill the internet connection for the entire house when connected to our network.

McAfee has failed to find any virus and I've recently removed a downloaded program called spigot because I thought that might be the source, alas no luck.

I've seen some similar issues on here but have as of yet failed to find a solution.
