DNS server not responding

This is a recent problem where I am unable to access the internet. I confirmed that the computer can access the internet if connected directly to the ATT modem.

I have a ddwrt repeater bridge that is connected to my desktop. I can access this router but there is not connection to the internet. I have tried to flushdns, ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew, tried setting the DNS server address to 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.222.222 with no luck.

I did uninstall Mcafee but still no internet.
