Strangest thing happened today. A couple of my devices quit working on my wifi. I'll start with what I have.
Dell inspiron 620 Desktop: Works on wifi and internet
iPad: works on wifi, but doesn't access the internet
HP Laptop: Accesses wifi, but no internet
HP Printer: Accesses wifi
router: CradlePoint CTR35
Everything was working fine this morning. Sometime today, my iPad couldn't access the internet. Naturally, I figured the internet was down, or my modem needed rebooted. I rebooted both my modem and my router. Still no internet on my iPad. Contacted the internet provider, and they said the internet is working fine on their end. Noticed after that, my Desktop is working fine. Went back to my iPad and went into the settings and did a "forget network", and logged back onto my network. Logs in, but no internet. Tried switching to my "guest network", no internet. I can log onto my router via my iPad, and it is showing internet connection, and the clients that are on my network. Later on, I decided to fire up my work Laptop, which was working this morning, and it also can access my network, but no internet connection. I then came back to my desktop and opened my browser and went to my router page. On my desktop, I get a message:
Stale DNS Detected
Your computer is using a stale IP address for the requested domain. Please restart your web browser and/or computer to correct this problem.
This is on the computer that is working!!
On the iPad, when I go to my router page, I get the log in screen and can navigate in my router fine.
any suggestions?
