IE Icon In Taskbar No longer Opens

I copied TSG but have no idea how to PASTE. I have no idea what I may have done lately But the IE Icon in the Taskbar where the Start (MS Symbal0 is located no longer works to open my AT&T/Yahoo Home page. When I click on that IE icon a blank screen appears and it says, "blank page" and nothing else appears. I do have an ATT World Icon on my Desktop to access my Home page but the Taskbar icon is so handy. How do I fix and get it working again?
