WiMax Driver issues

Ok so have an Asus U56E laptop and I have installed the drivers from website and I am detecting the WiMax side of the Intel Centrino Wireless N + WiMax 6150 adapter BUT NOT THE WIRELESS SIDE OF IT. If you look at the IPCONFIG it shows 2 LAN connections One of which (which I think is supposed to be number 2) is supposed to be the wireless adapter NOT ETHERNET. Under "network connections" in control panel It shows the Wimax as an Ethernet connection!!?? WHAT IN THE WORLD??!! I have NEVER seen this before WHAT is wrong here?
