So, just recently, my wireless desktop's wifi started acting funny. I will boot up and it will work fine, until about 3-5 minutes later it will still have signal bars, while gaining the small yellow exclamation point (i dont know what to call that thing) but it will loose internet access. All of my other wifi devices are connecting just fine (my phone, my laptop, as well as my dad's electronics). I can only get my connection back if I disconnect and reconnect to the network, and then the same thing happens. I could cope with it if I was just browsing the internet, but since I am a gamer I can't pause my multiplayer game every 5 minutes to reconnect to the network. On my desktop, I have 4 of 5 signal bars, and on my laptop, I usually have 3 of 5 bars.
I have tried countless things, including going into my network devices and trying to enable and disable things. Nothing works. I can't try directly connecting it to the modem because it is on the other side of the house.
Also, I will try troubleshooting why i cannot connect to the network and it usually tells me that theres something wrong with the adapter, and that the problem was fixed. I will get the same problem 5 minutes later.
It may be a bit irrelevant, but I downloaded LogMeIn Hamachi a few days before the internet started randomly doing this. I assumed the problem was coming from hamachi, though i had installed hamachi numerous times on my other computers and never had this problem. I also have Hamachi on my laptop as well and I don't have this problem with the internet.
Here is some extra information by the way. The desktop is a Dell, about 2 and a half years old, and I've never had this problem. It runs with Windows 7.
Thank you for any help I can get!
