Hi, I'm not especially computer savvy, so please bear with me.
Until recently I've been using my laptop to connect my Xbox 360 to the internet via an ethernet cable using ICS, however following a hard drive replacement, I no longer have the drop down box which allows me to select "Local Area Connection". It seems I need this to be able to share my laptop's connection to my WiFi with my Xbox, as although my Xbox can't connect through my laptop it connects perfectly through my sister's laptop which has the drop down box and Local Area Connection option in the ICS menu.
I found another thread on here with the same problem, the guy fixed it, however didn't say how, so I know there's a way to get the drop down box back. If anybody could help, it would be greatly appreciated :)
