I'm trying to set up a home lab, but I would like to be able to get to the internet from the lab through my ISP modem. I'm not sure how to do that exactly. I have a modem/router, and i took a ethernet cable from port 1 of the modem/router and plugged it into port 1 of the Netgear swich I have from there i plugged a cable into port 2 of the Netgear switch and plugged the other end of the cable into the desktop. However I do not get a internet connection. How can i set this up?
