Hey guys, I have been trying to troubleshoot problems with BF4 not launching correctly and have come to the conclusion that I need to open/forward some ports. When googling how to do this I came across this page: http://portforward.com/english/route...tlefield_4.htm.
Apparently my router is unable to forward/open the ports needed unless I enter DMZ mode or switch to bridging mode. From what I have read DMZ mode may make myself vulnerable online to possible attackers and I have no idea what switching to bridging mod does. Would anyone be able to give me some advice on what would be the best way to go around port forwarding the required ports so I can play. Cheers, nzbru.
