A couple days ago my main computer crashed So I took my older lap top running Vista and downloaded a browser and tried to log onto my face book account. I have a personal page and a business page as a non profit of which I am administrator . When I put Face book into the address of my browser, face book came up but no log on page and all it showed me was a few sentences but no posts, nothing and no way to get to the panel which would allow me to fix my settings and I cannot log onto anyone elses face book wall either. The odd part is that it does recognize me as my name is printed but not much else. I have tried the E Browser, Google Chrome and neither of those would even let me go online to any web site. I finally downloaded Mozilla Fire Fox that one gets me to any other online web site but as for face book I have cut & pasted what I see below
I have tried to go into controls for the browser but I cannot see anything that should interfere. But in desperation I turned off the " proxy" setting but that didn't help either. Since I rely upon Face Book for 95% of my non profit contacts and work I really need to be able to get back onto that site. Any help would be appreciated
