Challenge connecting two W7 computers in Ad Hoc Wireless Network

Hi Everyone,

I am attempting to setup an Ad Hoc Wireless Network between two Windows 7 computers. On my Desktop Computer I have created the actual network as per the screen shots below -

The end result is an Ad Hoc network available through my Desktop Computer -

However even though the network is seen as available from the laptop, when a connection is attempted there is an error -

A few additional points -

• I have tried dhcp & manually setting the I.P. address on both computers (with the same result)
• Both computers belong to the same Workgroup
• Both have file sharing enabled
• Both have Network Discovery enabled
• I chose no security to rule out encryption

If anybody has any idea of what I am missing here can you please share?
