My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A505 running on Windows 7 Home Premium. Over the last 2 months, I've been having serious issues with my laptops wireless connection. The connection itself just suddenly drops, before reconnecting at random times later (Sometimes its immediate, sometimes it takes 5 minutes, sometimes longer). The times it does this is random, however I have noticed that it also tends to do this more often when, strangely enough, people are around or enter my home. I don't know if that happens because of their cell phones or what, but almost every time a guest or two come over my internet connection flat out drops repeatedly
I've tried numerous fixes. Downloaded drivers, acanned for malware, moved by router and changed its channel. Also, these connection drops seem to only occur with my laptop. When my laptops connection drops, I'm able to browse at that exact moment on my cell phone just fine, which I connect to use my wi-fi at home. My cell phone almost never has these issues
Is there anything I can do to remedy this situation? It's very annoying and even more troublesome getting anything done
