So, recently I made This post on two different sites (Including this one) in hopes of solving my desktop's internet issues. I really do not think that the issue is hardware, but if it is, I assume it to simply be the ethernet port that was built into the motherboard. But, anyways! I'm looking to try and fix the issue, and I assume that using a wireless network adapter will fix everything, rather than trying t hook up with the ethernet cable.
Tl:dr
Computer issues, going wireless.
I'm not terribly wise when it comes to computers, especially the Networking bit, so I need a little assistance from you all! I need suggestions, recommendations, and information on wireless adapters for a desktop. I'm a gamer, if that helps at all.
What kind of adapter should I look for? They plug into the USB, right? Are the ones that plug into a USB slot different/weaker than the ones that plug into my motherboard? Should I try to get something Linksys to match up with my Linksys router?
