My Dell Latitude 610 laptop used to have a windows XP operating system, but the computer went bad. I took it a neighborhood tech guy and he replaced the hard drive and installed windows 7 ultimate. When I got the computer back, I was able to get wireless connectivity, but I had problems with pop ups indicating that the Windows Operating system was not genuine. I took it back to the tech guy and he said he needed to conduct a"crack", whatever that means. So he did his thing. I brought the computer back home and could not get any wireless connectivity. Called the tech guy. He said it had nothing to do with the operating system and supported his point by saying that he was able to get wireless connectivity at his home.
I have tried everything I could. I took a screen shot that shows that my Wireless Network Connection is enabled in the window. However, there is a small window in the lower right hand corner that shows "No connections are available"
Also, I received some troubleshooting messages about a problem with the driver.
Please advise. I need your help.
Thanks,
jc
