Internet connection working but browsers won't load anything

The little icon in the corner indicates that the internet connection wors no browser will load any pages. I've released/renewed my ip address, tried in safe mode with networking (doesn't work), tried tcp/ip repair and pinging (all said, could not find host). There are other computers in the house and this is the only one that has this problem.

I've heard great things about techguy forums and I really hope someone here can help me. It'd be much appreciated.
