Ok I am wanting to know if I have hooked up my devices correctly. It goes as follows:
Cable Modem internet jack to NETGEAR FVS336G firewall WAN 1 port
NETGEAR FVS336G firewall LAN 1 port to Linksys EA3500 Yellow internet port. I have no probles as of now accessing internet through Wifi or Ethernet on my devices. I am wanting to know if I should set certain settings or just leave everything set as default. I have the router set with default gateway of 192.168.1.1 and firewall with 192.168.1.130 please let me know if this setup is working/and or beneficial to me thanks guys for all input received. Remember I am a novice to networking BUT am able to figure things out very quickly most of the time
