having trouble networking win2k and win 7

I have a home workgroup peer to peer network based on Win2k, a mixture of wired and wireless devices. I have recently aquired an Asus netbook running Windows 7 Home Premium. I am trying to add the netbook to the network and can get it to show up in Network Neighborhood under the computer name (Asusnetbook) but when I try to connect to it I get the error message "network path not found". The network uses fixed IP addresses and a TPLink router and the netbook connects to the Internet with no problem but I am unable to connect to any of the other computers on the network. I have shared the Asusnetbook "C" drive and enabled NetBios via tcp/ip but no success.

Can anyone point out where I am going wrong please.
