linksys for wireless

I have a Lynksys Wireless-N home router (model WRT120N) and a Linksys USB compact wireless-G adapter (model WUSB54GC). I want to use this on a computer running XP. The router will be connected to a Xfinity modem (model ARRIS TG862G/CT) which is wired to the internet. Do I load programs for both of the Lynksys components I have listed above?
