Internet doesn't work without ethernet

Hi,

My wifi recently stopped working on my laptop and I'm not sure why. The internet only works if it's connected to an Ethernet cable. What can I do to fix this?

I recently restored my laptop to it's original factory system and that's when the wifi stopped working completely. Also, it's not a home problem because the wifi doesn't work anywhere.
