Wifi getting disconnect regularly

I have time warner cable. I had this cheapo belkin router, and when i'm on my laptop in my home, my wifi would automatically disconnect and reconnect on it's own. It's random as far as how long it will reconnect from a few minutes to 2 hours. I can go to the main pc and it's working fine

Thinking it was because of the cheapo belkin, i went out and picked up an Asus RT-N66U thinking this would fix the problem. I was wrong. The problem is still there. Dropping wifi pretty consistently on a daily basis. Main pc is still connected to internet perfectly fine
