Router refusing new password and network name.

Hello. I am running standard windows 7 on both computers at home, and my provider is Teksavvy. I am located in Quebec, Canada.

I've had my ZyXEL p600 modem + DIR 815 Dlink router for a while now and minus the constant slowdown by Teksavvy, my connection was doing well. However, today, my connection flinched and wouldn't come back. I used a factory reset on the modem, set it up using a cable and my Laptop, and then used a factory reset on the Router and tried to set it up again.

It's not the first time I completely reinstall this setup and I have been getting used to the routine. However, this time, while trying to connect to the router to give him my PPOE instructions (DLINK in the connection window), it din't ask my for the PIN like it usually does. My instructions on how to set up my router are clear from my ISP : Set up the Router completely, then set up the modem.

I skipped the wireless-connection-setup-wizard it offered me and simply tried to put internet on. It worked, but my network was called Dlink and had no password. I then went to the wireless connect setup wizard, input new names for both and the same password for both and tried to connect again. It did the little ''Making modifications'' window, but while Dlink got down and my new network got up (Let's call it kojonetwork), It din't automatically connect. I tried to connect myself manually but it would't accept any password. I tried old passwords, the new one, even some random one.

I tried to work around the password and network name in almost all the ways I can think off (Manually, turning the modem on during changing, changing the ports of the connection, not setting up anything before, using the recommended password, starting with that...) and I still can't get the password to work. It seems as soon as I place a new password or , it won't allow me to connect at all, with both PCs.

I am running out of ideas and patience as I have a fairly low limit and we are 4 on it, and it's extremely jittery (Goes up and down in seconds). Being unprotected is also very horrible.

The main points are :
1: Router does not ask for it's Pin while trying to connect to it for the first time"
2: Trying to change the network name or password crashes it so that it shows the new network name, but accepts NO passwords.
3: I have tried a full factory reset on both the modem and the wireless.
4: My ISP won't help with this.

Thank you kindly for your help
