Cannot open MS Access file over our network

We have a peer to peer network in our small business office.
We have a Linksys router.
Everyone is in the same work group. We have computers directly connected through a switch. We have 3 wireless computers (laptops) that sometime access the network as needed.

I am trying to use Access Runtime. It will not work. It gives an error that "there is a run time error". And then it shuts down.
I have all securities allowed for everyone and guests.
I have had someone help me (remote usage of my computer) and walked through all the MS Access techniques to no avail. So I have turned to maybe it is a network issue.
Please any help on this would be great.
I can allow access through a "google hangout" or "teamviewer"
