It's that time of the year again when visiting my parents means I have to fix their PC, since they assume I can fix anything on a computer, even though I know nothing about the subject. This is where you wonderful people come in!
Their network works, my computer is cabled in it right now, and their wi-fi network, although it sucks, also functions to the best of its ability. Their computer will not connect to either. When running diagnostics, I am advised that the driver for the local network card has a problem. They have a Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet card as well as an Atheros AR5B93 wireless network adapter. I tried downloading and installing a driver for the Netlink card but I'm not sure I had the right one and Windows says the most up to date driver is already installed for the card. Can't find a driver for the Atheros network adapter, whatever that is...
Can anyone help?
Thanks! :)
