I've tried everything I know to figure this out but need help here! I am on said laptop and online but who knows how long. I am having a hard time getting online most of the time. This is a wireless setup and I am at a motel. Was told that Internet Provider installed new routers a wk ago. The problem is, I either can't get onliine or if I do it is very very slow. Internet connectivity shows all bars full. I have pinged my adapter, pinged yahoo and google and it showed all sent but when I go to open up some browsers, it just sits there and does nothing but spins.
I have a Dell studio 1749 laptop with Windows 7 operating system. Cannot open youtube to listen to music. Very frustrating here. When I was home, I had no problem with getting online.
Was just wondering if everything checks out as being connected, could the wireless adapter be bad? Could it partially work but need replaced. I was going to try a USB adapter but the adapter needs the driver from website to install it and this is my only laptop. Cannot stay on long enough to download the driver to a flashdrive and install. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
