Solved: Bridging a home network: First Post

Good Evening,

So I'd like to start by saying this is my first post ever here, and that I'm genuinely pretty advanced with technology and pcs.

So here is my, less so of a dilemma, just looking for some second opinions.

In my apartment, we have one main router, in the living room along with the TV, Sonos system etc, and so having the router here is perfect. To add to this, when I plug in my pc or any device directly using an ethernet cable into the router I get up to 130mbs at times. However in my room, just one room along (VERY THICK WALLS HERE IN SWITZERLAND), I struggle with connection and when decently connected average an unsteady 5mbs, very frustrating when I want to game and not be in the lounge annoying my parents with Skype conversations.

We have a Dlink Dir-655 Gigabit Router as the home router, in the living room.

After much research and consideration I have little respect for your plug-in-wall network extender adapters. Instead I'd rather purchase a router I could place on my desk and use the ethernet ports for direct connection to my computer.

So...
1. What routers would you recommend I buy for bridging my router (Budget of about 50-60 Francs/55-65 Dollars/40-50 Euros), and a router that is of course compatible with my current home router..
2. How easy will this be to set-up, as I said I'm decent with pcs, and I have decent grips of my router's DHCP settings etc.
3. What speeds can I expect really with the bridging (roughly 10 metres from main router/solid concrete wall).

Thanks in advance, I apologise for length, I'll leave a summary.

tl;dr I need a router that's roughly $60 or less to bridge my home router for a better connection for gaming in my room, what's compatible with my current one router.
