My eMachines e525 won't connect wirelessly!

Hi there,

I'm at my sisters babysitting and my eMachines e525 wont connect to her wifi. I have done everything correctly and the laptop can see the wifi and there is a good signal, not full but about 60%, but it doesn't connect to the internet, even when I take the laptop right up close to the router.

Am I missing something?

I have used this laptop here before and it's been fine. I recently reinstalled Windows Vista and had to reinstall the drivers, have I installed the wrong wireless driver? I installed the Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter. I can connect ok using an ethernet cable, but her router is too far away from her living room as my 2 nephews upstairs use it too.

Any help would be appreciated.
